So, you're almost halfway through your day and cannot find the fairway to save your life. Yes, we've all been there. Here's the thing - If your driver is costing you strokes then STOP USING IT for a few holes. The scorecard doesn't ask which clubs you used along the way. So, try lowering your tee a little and use a 3 wood on the tee box. If that doesn't work, try lowering your tee even more and use a 3 iron. The point is: Keeping your ball in the fairway is the most important thing. Having good quality shots will take strokes off your scorecard. Once you feel confident again, pull out the driver. Remember, you're just trying to get to the green in the fewest amount of shots. Staying in the fairway can help.
